She has worked with independent mom-and-pop businesses—including restaurants, retail, and production—large corporations such as Microsoft and the Puget Sound Business Journal, and organizations within the veterinary industry. She even built her own small business from the ground up, earning Evening Magazine’s “Best of Western Washington” award for her services.

Across every chapter of her career, one constant stands out: Katie’s deep commitment to people. Her approach has always been rooted in person-centered care, thoughtful service, and genuine connection.

While earning her degree in Gerontology at Portland Community College, Katie discovered her passion for housing and advocacy. Around the same time, a close friend asked for her help in selling his Portland home and retiring in Bend. Supporting him through that transition revealed the emotional complexity of major life changes and the profound impact of compassionate, detail-oriented guidance. A trusted realtor friend recognized her natural talent and encouraged her to pursue real estate—and she hasn’t looked back.

Today, Katie continues to serve others with that same blend of empathy, attentiveness, and professionalism. She acts as her mother’s care coordinator and has supported numerous friends and family members through their own housing and care transitions.
